Chief knows best: M4 Carbine Assault Rifle

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Chief Master Sgt. Christian Pugh, 92nd Air Refueling Wing command chief, along with other Fairchild chief master sergeants toured the 92nd Communications Squadron with combat arms instructors April 6 testing Airmen on their knowledge of clearing procedures for the M4 Carbine Assault Rifle.

"Operation M4" was conducted to highlight the importance of Airmanship and meet the installation commander's intent of "Ready Airmen, Now... Tomorrow... Forever."

"You never know where the next conflict will be," Pugh said. "All that stands between you and mission success is your Air Force Training."
