Local HS students experience AF Survival School

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Junior ROTC students from Charles Francis Adams High School in Clarkston, Washington, came to the base for a tour of the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape School April 22.

Students were given the chance to see first-hand what the SERE students go through for training. The tour consisted of stops at the Aquatics Center for a water survival demonstration and the SERE School for a UH-1N Iroquois helicopter static display. It also included parachuting demonstrations and a visit to the Environmental Lab to learn about other ways to survive when captured.
