92nd Air Refueling Wing vice commander completes final flight at Fairchild

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Col. Brian Hill, 92nd Air Refueling Wing vice commander, completed his final flight here May 29. The final flight is an aviation tradition in which aircrew members, upon completion of their last flight with the wing, or "fini flight," are met and hosed down with water by their unit comrades, family and friends.

Hill was taxied in by his wife, Suzette Hill, and received an unexpected visit from his son, Brayden Hill, U.S. Air Force Academy cadet, who flew in to surprise his parents. Hill was also welcomed back from his final flight by many members of Team Fairchild.
