92nd ARS receives new commander

92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Lt. Col. Jason Brown took the reins from Lt. Col Jeremie Sheldon as the 92nd Air Refueling Squadron commander here june 11.

This is Brown's first assignment as a squadron commander. He was previously the 92nd ARS director of operations.

The change of command ceremony is an official, formal and brief ceremony that is the military's way of bestowing command responsibility of a unit to one officer.
