New commander takes reins of comptroller squadron

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Lt. Col. Khalim Taha took the reins as the 92nd Comptroller Squadron commander from Maj. Kevin Watts here June 19.

Taha joins Team Fairchild from his previous position as the Air Staff Deputy Chief of Defense Research and Engineering and Procurement Division at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

The change of command ceremony is an official, formal and brief ceremony that is the military's way of bestowing command responsibility of a unit from one officer to another.
