The odds are you haven't--that's a good thing. Congratulations on avoiding unusual legal issues. However, if you did, would you know what to do? If you receive a foreign civil proceeding during your official capacity you must see the legal office for assistance. According to Air Force Instruction 51-301 paragraph 6.6.2, when a member receives a lawsuit from a foreign country the member should "Send to the Staff Judge Advocate any writ, summons, notice of legal proceedings, or other foreign civil process delivered to an Air Force officer, employee, or activity immediately on receipt. For more information regarding foreign legal actions--or more typical legal issues, such as family law, wills, landlord-tenant, and powers of attorney--swing by the legal office.
