92nd Air Refueling Squadron renames auditorium Published Sept. 3, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Janelle Patiño 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE,Wash. -- The 92nd Air Refueling Squadron will conduct a renaming ceremony of the ARS auditorium and acknowledge the pioneering character of Col. Jerrold M. Vivian, the pilot to deliver the first KC-135 Stratotanker to Fairchild, along with a ribbon cutting of a heritage display in building 2090 Sept. 5 at 10:00 a.m. Two former squadron commanders (retired) Col. Al Carney and (retired) Lt. Col. Brand Hamby will be unveiling the plaque during the ceremony. "Col. Carney and Lt. Col. Hamby will be dedicating the plaque in honor of Col. Vivian," said Capt. Thomas Martin, 92nd ARS pilot. "The auditorium will provide us with a daily reminder of the accomplishments of those who have come before us." Officers and enlisted members are welcome to join the celebration of the renaming of the auditorium to Col. Jerrold M. Vivian Auditorium.
