There is no acceptable margin of error when it comes to launching aircraft in a safe, secure and reliable manner. In order for tankers at Fairchild Air Force Base to get off the ground, they require highly trained maintainers ... and their tools.

The 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's consolidated tool kit shop handles an average of nearly 5,000 tools each day including those being signed in and out over a 24-hour period. The CTK shop is a massive room stocked full of every tool a maintainer might need to get the aging KC-135 Stratotanker off the ground and in the air. CTK is manned by maintainers from across their career field.
