The 92nd Air Refueling Wing will remember the lives of the three fallen Fairchild Airmen who tragically perished a year ago in a KC-135 Stratotanker crash in northern Kyrgyzstan with a memorial dedication ceremony Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairchild Memorial Grove Park.

Those to be honored are:
Capt. Mark T. "Tyler" Voss, 27, hometown of Boerne, Texas
Capt. Victoria A. "Tori" Pinckney, 27, hometown of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Tech. Sgt. Herman "Tre" Mackey III, 30, hometown of Bakersfield, Calif.

During the ceremony, a granite memorial featuring a centerpiece and three benches will unveil to honor the three Airmen and keep their memory alive at Fairchild Air Force Base.

"The monument portion of the memorial is meant to signify the crew contributions and each bench allows us to reflect on the accomplishments of Tyler, Tory and Tre," said Capt. Daniel Schone, 92nd Operations group executive officer.

The ceremony will begin with a KC-135 flyover in remembrance of the individuals lost, and will allow a moment of silence. Col. Brian Newberry, 92nd ARW commander, will offer remarks, following with the unveiling of the memorial. A reception at the Red Morgan Event Center will immediately follow the ceremony.
