Duty title: Emergency Management Training NCO in charge

What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild Air Force Base? I am the NCOIC of the training section in the Fairchild Emergency Management Flight.

What do you enjoy about your job? I enjoy the fact that I am on the cutting edge of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defensive capabilities here at Fairchild and the world abroad. However, my main passion would be teaching personnel new and updated concepts concerning CBRN survival and defense.

Why did you choose to serve in the military? I joined the Air Force after a year of college because I felt I needed a change in my life and haven't looked back since. College is still important to me and I still go to school but that cannot replace the friendships and skills I've attained while in the Air Force.

What is your greatest accomplishment? One of my greatest accomplishments was to be personally recognized by the Civil Engineer of the Air Force for my work in support of operations in Southwest Asia.

What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild Air Force Base? I achieved my associates and hope to receive my bachelor's degree in healthcare administration while here at Fairchild.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him or her? My father was my greatest mentor as he taught me how to be a gentleman and how to be humble in life.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? If I could spend an hour with anyone, I would like to spend an hour with Bruce Lee. Many people know him as a martial artist but he was also a great philosopher and had many wise life lessons before his untimely death.
