What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild AFB? I am a Contract Specialist; I manage about 16 contracts and handle any new procurements within the small purchase team.
What do you enjoy about your job? I love the constant change of it, and the continuous learning.

Why did you choose to serve in the military? My husband had served in the Navy and he always spoke about how gratifying it was; so I decided to join to be a part of something greater.

What is your greatest accomplishment? Becoming a U.S. citizen.

What goals you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild AFB? Finish my degree, complete all my required training to get my 7 level and APDP Level II.

What is your favorite quote? "All things work together for good to those who love God" Romans 8:28

Your best habit: Dedication, I will always do my best no matter what the task is.

Favorite movies: The Notebook and Ratatouille

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her? My favorite mentor is Mr. Aransaens, he was my old flight chief. He taught me how to trust myself as a leader and most of all to truly care for people. In our military life, we need to be concerned with individuals instead of statistics. He was amazing at making you feel like your concerns/problems were the only thing that he had to worry about, he was selfless and truly cared for everyone that worked for him. I aspire to be like him and to be kind to people to earn their respect, and not just receive it because of my rank or position.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? My mother, she passed away when I was a toddler and I don't remember much about her. I would love to hear her advice and most of all just have time with her.
