Spokane Falls Community College classes 

Registration is now open for Spring Quarter at Spokane Falls Community College. SFCC offers general education classes. Student can register on base for classes.
To schedule an appointment with a counselor, call 533-8937. Web registration is available for current students. 

Study Skills class
This seminar is designed for military, civilians and dependents returning to college after a long absence. The primary focus of the seminar is time management. Other modules include memory, reading for comprehension and test-taking tips. Students will assess their learning style, make a study calendar and establish goals. 

Classes are April 11, July 11, Aug. 8 and Sep. 12 at the education center, room 103, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Lunch is noon - 1:00 p.m.

Military family scholarship
Park University offers a 15-credit hour scholarship for family members of active-duty personnel. If you have been a Park student for not more than one year at the time of application, or you will be applying to become a student with Park for the 2007-2008 school year, with a cumulative grade point average between 3.0 and 4.0, you may be eligible for this scholarship. Application deadline is April 13.

active-duty servicemembers (up to $250 per semester hour.) Call the education office at 247-2348 for information.
