Nancy Reid 141st Air Refueling Wing FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Three volunteers from the Washington Air National Guard, 141st Medical Group, departed June 5 to serve aboard the U.S.N.S. Comfort during the summer months of 2007. One nurse and two medical technicians will help support the Baltimore-based hospital ship's mission in providing medical care to the citizens at several Latin American and Caribbean ports of call. During the Goodwill Mission, the ship's doctors, nurses and support personnel expect to treat 85,000 patients and conduct up to 1,500 surgeries.
