Airmen basic through senior airmen, and new supervisors of enlisted Airmen, can attend the class June 29, 8 a.m. - noon, at the education center, room 103. - Anatomy of Leadership and Influence teaches students to understand their strengths and qualifications, and achieve goals through planning and helping others. All military and civilian personnel can attend the class June 27, 8 a.m. - noon, at the education center, room 105. - Basic Listening Skills teaches the essentials of listening skills, saving time and resources, and avoiding challenges through better communication. Nursing Education and Commissioning Program The Air Force is now accepting applications from qualified enlisted members for a new enlisted commissioning program. The new annual Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program gives enlisted members the opportunity to complete a full-time Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at an accredited university while on active duty. The nurse corps hopes to select 50 students for the upcoming fall semester. The NECP selection board is scheduled to convene at the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, in July. Applications must be received no later than June 25. Spokane Falls Community College Registration is now open for current students for summer and fall quarters at Spokane Falls Community College. Fairchild will offer English 101, History 101 and Humanities 224 for the summer quarter starting June 25. Students must transfer this class in or take it with Park. The registrar's office must receive scores by June 30 for credit. Students should sign up at least two terms prior to taking EN306/CJ441/CJ450. A passing WCT score is a prerequisite to register for EN306/CJ441/CJ450 and also a graduation requirement. Call 244-2020 to schedule an appointment to take the mandatory WCT. - Park University students receiving Pell Grants or student loans should be aware the process of dropping a class may change eligibility. If Park is required to return a portion of an amount already awarded, the student will be responsible for any balance resulting from the return of the loan or grant money. Before dropping classes, students should check with their site administrator to determine if loan or grant eligibility will be affected. For information, call 244-2020. - All consortiums and visiting student agreements must be approved by the host and home institution registrars, and be received in the student financial services office at Park University before the beginning of the applicable term. Students who want a consortium/visiting student agreement to be processed need to start their paperwork early, or they will not be paid for the consortium hours. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees and non-degree certificates of completion programs. Aviation and aerospace courses can be completed either in a traditional classroom setting or over the internet. Embry-Riddle's Spokane Center will begin registration for the Fall 07 term July 16; classes start Aug. 6. Both undergraduate and graduate classes will be offered.
