The Diamond Sharp Award is an award presented to individuals who, by themselves, exhibit self dedication, commitment, readiness and humanity to mankind both on- and off-duty.

One of the winners of March's Diamond Sharp Award is Airman 1st Class Yaw Antwi-Agyei, 92nd Communications Squadron, knowledge operations section.

Knowledge operations consist of records management, publications, postal, managing the portal and Web page creation, which play an important role in our day-to-day administration in the Air Force.

"I feel I earned this award because of my dedication, commitment, readiness and love for my job and the entire squadron of which I am proud to be part," Airman Antwi-Agyei said. "I always go by the last stanza of the Airmen Creed, which I quote 'wingman, leader, warrior. I will never leave an Airmen behind, I will not falter and I will never fail'."
Airman Antwi-Agyei just arrived at Fairchild at the end of January, and has already distinguished himself enough to earn this award.

"I am so happy and proud of this because it has been a motivational factor for me to always bring out the best in me to contribute to my section and the Air Force in general," he said. "Long live Fairchild, Long live the Air Force."
