SPOKANE, Wash. – Various military members from all four services are represented on stage at the Armed Forces Person of the Year luncheon at the convention center. The event is held annually, and hosted by Greater Spokane Incorporated and given to what Spokane representatives call the best of the best - military members who excel in not only their military duties, but also contribute greatly to the community. Col. Robert Thomas, 92 Air Refueling Wing commander talks to Brigadier Gen. Douglas Robb, Air Mobility Command surgeon general. Gen. Robb visited 92nd Medical Group as well the Veteran Affairs hospital and used the opportunity to speak with the troops. The visit highlighted strides the 92nd Medical group has taken to ensure better care for its members such as the renovation to the base clinic.
