2011 Air Mobility Rodeo

The Fairchild maintenance team earned a bonus point at the 2011 Air Mobiliy Rodeo maintenance skills competition for the precise backing up of a government vehicle that put the trailer hitch within a half inch of a raw egg balancing on a cone without knocking it over. Driving was Senior Airman Mitchell Tindal, 92nd Maintenance Squadron, and spotting was Staff Sgt. Jason Kopenhafer, also from the 92nd MXS.

The four-man Fairchild maintence team competes in the 2011 Air Mobility Rodeo Maintenance skills compeition July 28 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Bottom, two 92nd Maintenance Squadron Airmen work to repair a generator and top, two 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Airmen work to change out values on a simulated aircraft.
