Fairchild Air Force Base remembers deceased Airman Published Sept. 22, 2011 By 92 Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The 92nd Air Refueling Wing will host a memorial service for Tech. Sgt. Robert L. Aronson tomorrow in the base chapel for family, friends and fellow service members. Aronson, the electrical environmental shop chief for the 92nd Maintenance Squadron, was found dead at his residence at about 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Fairchild Air Force Base emergency services responded immediately with Aronson being pronounced dead by a 92nd Medical Group doctor later that morning. "This is a tragic loss which has been felt throughout our wing," said Col. Paul Guemmer, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander. "Robert and his family will remain in our thoughts and prayers while we continue to help his family and friends during this difficult time." The incident remains under investigation.
