FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Washington State University held a barbeque open for military members of all services here April 18.

WSU dubbed the event: "Cougar Salute to Our Armed Forces". The menu included burgers, hotdogs and all the condiments. The event was to show appreciation for military and is part of the university's Spirit Week.

Also in attendance were Butch T. Cougar and the WSU cheer team, following Col. Van Wert, 92nd Air Refueling Wing vice commander, and Bill Moos athletic director, who explained the importance of the military and community relations.
