CLEAR LAKE, Wash. -- An annual spring fishing event for kids took place at Fairchild Air Force Base's resort here May 5.

The event drew in more than 800 kids ages 5 to 14. Participants received a t-shirt plus a rod and reel to take home.

The kids received a 60-minute shot at catching rainbow trout. More than 5,000 fish were stocked by Washington's Department of Fish and Wildlife.
