TRANSIT CENTER AT MANAS, Kyrgyzstan -- Air Force personnel conduct Foreign Object Debris walks across their flightlines in a continued effort to promote safety, surety and success for their pilots and mission.

FOD is a substance, debris or article alien to a vehicle or system which would potentially cause damage to the aircraft's engines and cost the service millions to fix or replace.
