Fairchild Deployed: Senior Airman Devin Reeves Published July 26, 2012 376th Air Expeditionary Wing Public Affairs TRANSIT CENTER AT MANAS, Kyrgyzstan -- Every week, a member of the 376th Expeditionary Wing is selected as the Warrior of the Week. This individual is recognized based on outstanding performance, good conduct, work ethic and most importantly, for a job well done. Meet the Warrior of the Week -- Senior Airman Devin Reeves is a 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron support section journeyman for the Transit Center at Manas deployed from the 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. and a native of Caruthersivlle, Mo. Here's what Reeves has to say about himself and his deployment. What do you do on a daily basis at the Transit Center? On a daily basis I work on improving and simplifying our Hazardous Materials Communication Program and Waste Streams. What do you enjoy about being at the Transit Center? I enjoy all the fitness facilities and the moral programs, which are available to us here. Why did you choose to serve in the military? I choose to join the military to travel outside of my circle, meet new people and make new friends. How do you feel about your contributions to the Transit Center mission and current operations in the area of responsibility? I feel that the things I do here are just small pieces of the larger puzzle in the fight for freedom. Family: My wife and three children Time at the Transit Center: 6 weeks Time in military: 2 yrs 5 months. Greatest accomplishment: Making Honorable Mention in the 2004 National Math competition What goals do you want to achieve or meet while serving at the TCM? To prepare for my upcoming physical fitness test and pass that with a 100 percent. Hobbies: My hobbies include playing any instrument I can get my hands on, singing and drag racing What is your best habit? Punctuality - I show up to work early every day.
