A BPA utility vehicle weighing about 50,000 pounds and stretching about 35 feet is slowly backed into the mouth of at Travis Air Force Base C-5 Galaxy on the flightline at Fairchild AFB, Wash., Nov. 3. The wooden ramp allows the vehicles to enter without the top scraping against the roof of the aircraft. The C-5 departed with 19 BPA employee volunteers and five of their 14 vehicles at about 11 a.m. for Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst.
