2012 CFC biggest success ever at Fairchild Published Dec. 14, 2012 By Airman 1st Class Ryan Zeski 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Fairchild Air Force Base's 2012 Combined Federal Campaign ended Dec. 10, and Team Fairchild raised $136,137 for local, national and international charities. This was the best year ever at Fairchild, raising 124 percent of its goal. "This is the best campaign I've ever seen, and in terms of contributions it's the highest in Fairchild's history," said John Guilbeault, Inland Northwest CFC account manager. A key factor that greatly helped make the CFC campaign this year such a success was the support from everyone involved, said Master Sgt. Hikmat Ray Hanna, 92nd Air Refueling Wing CFC manager. The goal couldn't have been achieved without the 100 percent participation from everyone at Team Fairchild, he said. "I have an autistic son and a daughter with spine bifida." said Tech. Sgt. Maria Jaramillo, 92nd Mission Support Group NCO in-charge of knowledge operations. "It means a lot to me being able to support these organizations, they provide great resources and information and are working toward finding a cure." The CFC will be back next year and is a way to make a tax-deductible, year-end gift to charities, Hanna said.
