Auto Hobby Shop to be closed Mondays Published June 25, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Sam Fogleman 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The impact of sequestration continues to build as the Auto Hobby Shop will undergo shortened availability starting the week of June 30. Beginning July 1, the Auto Hobby Shop will be closed Mondays, due to low utilization rates. The new hours will be 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays, and it will be closed Sundays and Mondays. "After a careful review of customer utilization and staffing costs, we believe these changes will have minimum impact on the base populace and ensure Auto Hobby cost of operations remain at a level that is sustainable," said Jeffrey R. Johnson, 92nd Mission Support Group strategic advisor. As always, the Auto Hobby Shop will offer the same amenities and services the Fairchild community has come to expect.
