Maj. Jonathan Aevermann assumed command of the 92nd Communication Squadron from Maj. Clayton Baker during a change of command ceremony July 13.

Prior to assuming command, Aevermann was an instructor supervisor for Undergraduate Cyber Training where he provided initial skills training to all cyber operations officers. He was also responsible for maintaining all IT systems and policy in support of Air Mobility Command’s Inspector General as the Future Programs Branch chief for the Air Mobility Command Inspector General at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

“I look forward to working with you and working for the Airmen,” said Aevermann.

Aevermann earned his commission in 2005 through Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

“I’m excited to be here and to be part of the fight,” he said.
