92nd CPTS welcomes new commander

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Maj. Phillip Roth assumed command of the 92nd Comptroller Squadron from Lt. Col. Khalim Taha during a change of command ceremony, June 26.

Roth joins Team Fairchild after serving as a Budget Analyst for the Financial Management and Comptroller Directorate, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

“I am honored to be joining this team and I look forward to continuing to provide outstanding decision support, fiscal expertise and superior financial management services to the wing,” Roth said.

Roth served as the personal advisor on financial issues associated with a combat force of four Numbered Air Forces, 34 wings, 1,300 aircraft and approximately 94,000 active duty and civilian personnel.

“Thank you for the opportunity to command this outstanding squadron, and to serve as your chief financial officer,” Roth concluded.
