Team Fairchild leaders paid tribute and expressed their appreciation to veterans during National Salute to Veteran Patients at the Spokane Veteran Medical Center in Spokane.

The National Salute to Veteran Patients is held every year during the week of Feb. 14 and is a chance for people to pay tribute to the almost 100,000 veterans of the U.S. military. Many of these veterans reside in veteran medical centers, outpatient clinics and nursing homes.

The National Salute to Veteran Patients, run by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, invites military personnel, civic organizations, businesses, schools, local media, celebrities and sports players to visit veterans.
