During the month of February, three Fairchild Airmen received nonjudicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, and one Airman was involuntarily separated for misconduct.  Commanders used the following as a means of punishment, rehabilitation, and maintaining good order and discipline:

NONJUDICIAL PUNISHMENT (ARTICLEs 15)

A staff sergeant from the 92nd Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for assault, a violation of Article 128, UCMJ.  The member hit their spouse during a domestic dispute. Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the rank of senior airman and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 92nd Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to report to their appointed place of duty, a violation of Article 111, UCMJ.  The member was found sleeping in their dorm room after not reporting to work.  Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the rank of airman, forfeiture of $429 pay per month for two months, 14 days restriction to Fairchild AFB, 14 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 92nd Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for leaving the local area before the senior airman's leave officially began, a violation of Article 92, UCMJ, and for assault, a violation of Article 128, UCMJ.  The member left the local area prior to the beginning of approved leave and was later arrested for assault while in the unauthorized location because they hit their spouse.  Punishment consisted of a reduction to the rank of airman with reduction below airman first class suspended, suspended forfeiture of $858 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand.

INVOLUNTARY   SEPARATION ACTIONS

An airman first class from the 92nd Security Forces Squadron was separated for a number of minor disciplinary infractions.  In March 2014, this Airman received nonjudicial punishment for being disrespectful to an NCO, in violation of Article 91, UCMJ, and for posting lewd pictures about their supervisor on a social media site, in violation of Article 134, UCMJ.  The member also received prior disciplinary paperwork for various issues.  Due to the member's misconduct, the 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander directed this member's separation with a general discharge.  Moreover, as a result of this discharge characterization, all G.I. Bill benefits were forfeited.
