Air Force survival school unable to survive aircraft maintainers in softball tournament

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  Approximately 65 military members from across Fairchild Air Force Base participated in a softball tournament May 2 sponsored by the 5/6 council, at the base sports fields.

The tournament was open to all Team Fairchild members, and included six teams comprised of Airmen from the 92nd Maintenance Squadron, 92nd Medical Group, 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 92nd Force Support Squadron, 92nd Operations Group and the 336th Training Group which hosts the U.S. Air Force Survival School.

At the tournament's end, the games came down to a competition between the 336th TRG and the 92nd AMXS for the win. The 92nd AMXS came out of the tournament with an 18-8 victory over the 336th TRG.
