SkyFest 2014 is only weeks away and excitement is building in anticipation of the high-flying fun to be held the weekend of May 31 and June 1.

The USAF Thunderbirds are headlining the event as well as the US Army's Golden Knights, however many civilian aircrews are joining in on the action.

Civilians flying acts to look forward to include:
· Jacquie B in Extra 300
· Smoke -n- Thunder Jet Car
· P-51 Heritage Flight
· Jelly Belly's Kent Pietsch
· Cascade Warbirds
· Mustang High Flight
· Dan Buchanan
· Boeing 40C
· Stearman Formation

"It is awesome to have these acts come out and showcase their talents for our Airmen and the community," said Maj. Rob Aikman, the Air Show Director. "Our civilian partners really help inspire the love of aircraft in people of all ages."

Vendors will also be present at SkyFest. Food items that may be purchased include burgers, nachos, pizza, hotdogs, an assortment of beverages and soft drinks and a variety of frozen treats.

"If patrons forget items to protect themselves from the sun, like hats and umbrellas, or want collectibles to create lasting memories of the airshow, we have them available, too," said Destiny Veliz, a 92nd Force Support Squadron contracting officer.
