Immunization hours Published Feb. 1, 2007 FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The following is a question to the commander submitted by someone on Fairchild or in the local commuity:Q: Hi. I just wanted to comment on some issues I'm having with the immunization clinic on base. For the last three weeks I've made five trips on base to go to the immunization clinic to get immunized. The problem is, I'm calling their phone number to make sure they are open, get the message, hear the hours, drive in here from downtown and they are closed for training and they are not updating their message. I believe it is very important for them to let us know when they are closed so we are not wasting our time. Thanks. A: Thank you for bringing the problem with the recorded message for the immunizations Clinic hours to our attention. We addressed your concern with the 92nd Medical Group commander who immediately corrected the problem. The message now accurately lists our hours of operation which are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed at noon on the third Wednesday of every month for military training. The Immunizations Clinic is routinely closed on federal holidays, and family/wing down days. We are now reviewing the message on a weekly basis to ensure continuing accuracy as special circumstances occur. To submit a question to the Commander's Direct Line, call (509) 247-2323 or email 92arw.pa@fairchild.af.mil.
