Study skills class
This seminar is designed for those students who are returning to school after a long absence and would like to sharpen their study skills. The primary focus of study skills is to introduce individuals to time management in order to balance the demands of school and working life. Other modules include memory, reading for comprehension and test taking tips. In this course the student will assess their learning style, make a study calendar and establish goals. Active duty, civilians and dependents are eligible to attend class. The next class is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 7.
Reservations are necessary - Those people that have access to a military computer can enroll at: https://afkm.wpafb.af.mil/ASPs/Reg/RegisterSelect.asp?Filter=OO-ED-AM-08&EventID=3123&GroupID=4074 and register under the "Action" column.
Clicking the "Additional info" link will provide information about the course. Anyone that does not have access to a military computer or have questions can contact the Education Office at 247-2348. 

Education and guidance for dependants
Education and Training targets family members and spouses of active duty who may not realize the scope of opportunity available to them through the Fairchild Education Center. There is education and career guidance, financial aid resources, school choices, college credit through testing, tips for college credit transfer and college basics counseling for those just starting out. Additional information on these opportunities is available at both the Airman and Family Readiness Center and the Education Center. Stop by customer service at the Education Center in building 2380 for more information.

Need A Bachelor of Science Degree?
You may be closer to earning a Bachelor's Degree than you think, using the Off Campus Degree Program located here. The program offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development. Highlights of the program include: Accelerated format - major can be completed in one year; no associate degree is required; weekend classes are designed for the working adult; up to 44 semester hours can be granted for work experience and technical training; civilians are welcome and financial assistance is available to qualified students. Classes for Summer Semester begin May 5.
