Air University new Associate-Bachelor Cooperative Degree Program
The vision of our Air force leaders is to provide distance learning and bachelor's degree opportunities for Airmen. The AU-ABC initiative establishes partnerships between the Air Force and accredited civilian higher education institutions to offer baccalaureate degree opportunities via distance learning. AU-ABC degree programs will be linked to one or more Air Force relevant degree program currently offered by Community College of the Air Force. Proposals are currently being accepted from civilian institutions. The AF Virtual Education Center will serve as the gateway to these post-CCAF degree programs with the goal of beginning implementation for student enrollment in June 2007. Additional information is available on the AFVEC homepage at: https://www.my.af.mil/afvecprod.

- MBS Direct is Park's official textbook partner. Textbooks are guaranteed to be available if ordered through MBS. If students purchase textbooks through another source, Park cannot assist with any problems.
MBS Direct ships orders within 24 hours according to the student's instructions, excluding holidays and weekends. Park's virtual bookstore will open 3-4 weeks prior to the start of classes. Students should make arrangements to receive their books prior to the first day of class; however, students enrolling during the add/drop period should request next-day delivery to prevent course delay.

- Park students must successfully complete the Writing Competency Test and EN306 before registering for MG401, MG495, HR491, and MK491. These prerequisites will not be waived. Also, all core requirements must be complete in order to enroll in MG495. Students wishing to enroll in other courses for which they do not have the required prerequisites must obtain a waiver of the prerequisites. Call 244-2020 for information.

- Park University's Fairchild campus center offers the Writing Competency Test May 15, 22 and 29. A passing WCT score is a prerequisite to register for EN306/CJ441/CJ450 and a graduation requirement. Students should sign up at least two terms prior to taking EN306/CJ441/CJ450.
The WCT results will not be available until at least three weeks after test date. Failure to comply with this requirement could delay graduation. Call 244-2020 to schedule an appointment to take the WCT.

- Effective July 1, Park University will not accept standardized testing (DANTES/CLEP, etc.) for CS140, Intro to Computers. Students must transfer this class in or take it with Park. The registrar's office must receive scores by June 1 for CS140 credit.
