Restricted Realignment area
Effective June 24 at 12:01 a.m., the flightline restricted area realignment will be in effect. All primary entry will be through Flightline Vehicle Gate FV-9 located between the Snow Barn and 92 Logistics Readiness Squadron. As a reminder, when aircraft are present in temporary restricted areas and for the permanent restricted area, individuals will need a restricted area badge with the open area 4,  be under escort or have a home station restricted area badge with an authenticated entry authority list. All vehicles and individuals will enter through the designated entry control points unless a known emergency, Klaxon, aircraft taxiing or pre-approved clearance is granted. Unit security managers will have maps indicating the realignment and any questions can be directed to the Staff Sgt. William Brown, 92nd Security Forces Squadron, at 247- 5998. As always, security is everyone's duty, you can call the Helping Hand hotline 247-7777 to report unusual incidents affecting protection level resources. 

Wanted: Sharp lookers
Do you know an E-1 thru E-6 that exceeds the standards of Dress and Appearance?
If you do, you can nominate them for the 5/6 Club Sharp Looker Award. Nominations are due by June 25 and the winner will be announced July19. Nominations need to include the rank and name of the nominee, duty location, supervisor's name and duty phone, and an explanation of why the nominee deserves this award. Promotion and Picnic
Join the 92nd Comptroller Squadron at Miller Park June 29 at noon to watch Maj. Timothy Dunster, 92nd CPTS commander, get promoted to lieutenant colonel by Col. Thomas Sharpy, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander. The event will be held at pavilion two. A squadron picnic will follow the promotion. Attention...Sharp, proud Airman!
Fairchild needs you to serve in the Honor Guard. Initial training begins July 16-20 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Honor Guard training room in Building 2447.

Security Forces Lost and Found
Several items have been turned into the Security Forces Lost and Found. The items relinquished to security forces as found or abandoned property includes:
-One child's purse with toys inside
-One key chain with a keyless entry mechanism
-One bicycle
If you are the rightful owner of any of the above listed property and can give a full description of the lost items, please call Security forces Investigations at 247-5868, Monday- Friday during normal duty hours.

ALS looking for instructors
Fairchild's Airman Leadership School flight chief is accepting applications for two staff sergeant instructor positions. Youth Center summer camp
The Youth Center School Age Program has openings for its Summer Camp Program for youth ages 6 -12. The program provides safe, supervised activities planned around weekly themes, as well as swimming, roller skating, bowling and more. Prices are based on total family income and include meals and field trips. Call the Youth Center at 247-5601.

Medical Group farewell picnic
The 92nd Medical Group hosts a farewell luncheon for Col. Patrick Murray, Lt. Col. Eleanor Foreman and Lt. Col. Darrell Landreaux at Miller Lake June 22 at 1 p.m. The meal, catered by Longhorn BBQ, is $10 per person.

Hoopfest
Hoopfest XVIII is June 30 and July 1 in downtown Spokane. Court monitor volunteers receive a free T-shirt, hat and Nike shorts and shoes. Volunteer online at www.spokanehoopfest.net.

T-ball and coach pitch program
Volunteer coaches, assistant coaches and officials are needed. A coaches' clinic will be offered at 5 p.m., June 23 at the Deel Community Center. Registration packets, volunteer application, calendar and other information can be found at www.fafbservices.com.

Clear Lake Triathlon
Fairchild employees and family members age 16 and older are eligible to participate in the Clear Lake Triathlon July 21. Participants can register individually ($5 entry fee) or as a group ($10 entry fee.) The triathlon will include a 15-mile bike ride, 5-kilometer run and 600-meter swim. Undergraduate Flying Training
The next Undergraduate Flying Training selection board will convene at the Air Force Personnel Center Jan. 8. This selection board will review active duty applications for selection to pilot, CSO and air battle manager training. Those officers with a date of birth after April 1, 1978, and a TFCSD after April 1, 2003, who meet all other eligibility criteria, will be eligible to apply for UFT. Applicants are responsible for advising commanders and supervisors providing AF Form 215 comments of the application deadline. Applications with incomplete or missing data may not be processed. All applicants need to compete the Air Force Officer Qualification Test. In addition, pilot applicants must complete the Test of Basic Aviation Skills.
