MVP: Senior Airman Philip DuChene Published July 26, 2007 FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- This week's MVP is: Senior Airman Philip DuChene Squadron 92nd Maintenance Squadron Position Survival Equipment Journeyman Service he provides to Team Fairchild I maintain all life-sustaining equipment associated with the KC-135 refueling aircraft, such as the 20-man life rafts, one-man life rafts, underarm life preserver, infant cots, adult and child life preservers, personnel parachutes and anti-exposure coveralls. I also design and fabricate a multitude of aircraft and equipment related protective and security covers, and I maintain various shop programs, such as the Precision Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment, Lock-Out/Tag-Out and Safety. He also provided security for a $17 million aircraft ramp renovation project. During the project, he led 25 foreign nationals to safety while under enemy fire.
