Volunteer Opportunities Published Sept. 20, 2007 FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Big Brothers Big Sisters Michael Anderson Elementary School is looking for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, men and women who are free to spend one hour per week during lunch with a child at the school. They would have lunch together and be with them at recess. Consistency is critical for children as they become very attached to their big brother or sister. The school understands there are times when a big brother or sister may be gone out of town or other setbacks, but will work around this. Applications are available at the school. Volunteers will be screened by Big Brothers, Big Sisters and an interview would be scheduled. For information call Cheryl Stitt at 565-3604.
