Push-up-athon challenges Airmen
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Jarrad Plunkett husband of Tech. Sgt. Alise Plunkett, 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, motivates Staff Sgt. Jeffery Gieras, 92nd Mission Support Squadron readiness manager, urging him to keep going at the push-up-athon on Dec. 6. Sergeant Gieras separated himself from competition by reaching the inconceivable count of 110 push-ups when the time had expired. The event took place in the base fitness center and hosted 15 contestants of all ages. Members raised money by gathering pledges then did as many push ups as they could in a two minute increment. The money raised is going to off set the price of Air Mobility Command annual awards. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. JT May III)
