The following is a list of upcoming Fairchild events and other pertinent 92nd Air Refueling Wing information. Education briefs are located at the bottom of the page.

Highlighted Events:

Jan. 17: Tops in Blue
Tops in Blue, the Air Force's expeditionary entertainment unit, is scheduled to perform at the Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Wash., Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Tops in Blue is an all active-duty special unit comprised of 35 talented vocalists, musicians and dancers. For those with base access, transportation will be provided from the Deel Community Center. The first bus will depart at 5:45 p.m. Call 247-2619 for more information.

Upcoming Events Jan. 16 - Jan. 23:

Jan. 17: Palace Chase briefing
There will be a Palace Chase briefing Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. in the MPF conference room (building 2245, room 227A). The briefing is open to all ranks and will include general information about the benefits of the Air Force Reserve and will include a tutorial on the "Virtual Application" process. Palace Chase is an early release program which allows active duty personnel to transfer to the Air Force Reserve before their established date of separation. For more information about this briefing, the Palace Chase program, or the Air Force Reserve, please call Master Sgt. Kenneth Toon at 247-2976.

Jan. 18: Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Ceremony
A Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Ceremony will take place Jan. 18 at the base Chapel at 3 p.m. Dress is uniform of the day for military personnel and casual for civilian personnel.

Jan. 18: 92nd MDG Sponsor Night
The 92nd Medical Group Sponsor Night is scheduled for Jan. 18. The theme for the event is "Totally Awesome 80's." There will be various games, a best dressed contest, 80's themed Guitar Hero, raffle and 80's music.

Jan. 23: Blood Drive
The Inland Northwest Blood Center will host a blood drive Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Base Exchange. All donors will receive a special edition military T-shirt as a special thank you for making a difference in the community. U.S. Air Force Services Survey

Auto Hobby New Hours of Operation
The Auto Hobby Center now has new hours of operation. They will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be closed Sunday and Monday. Call 247-2310 for more information.

In case of inclement weather
Reminders, advisements and warnings are being spread throughout the region with winter weather on its way. In the case of inclement weather this winter, call 247-5100 for base information regarding closures and manning issues.

Space Available travel for dependents of deployed military members
In recognition of sustained efforts of the spouses and dependent children of our deployed military members, when the military member's deployment is for 120 consecutive days or more, spouses and dependent children are authorized to travel Space-A, unaccompanied in Category IV.

Youth Center
The Youth Center is looking for volunteer basketball game referees. Training will be provided. Call Ryan Frost at 247-9622 for more information.
