A Tops in Blue reminder Published Jan. 15, 2008 FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The Tops in Blue performers will be making their way to Fairchild from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, in preparation for their Jan. 17 performance at the Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Wash. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tops in Blue has been the Air Force's prime expeditionary entertainment unit since the program's inception in 1953. Since then, Tops in Blue has performed at countless locations to an innumerable sum of viewers. The performance, themed "The Fly By," celebrating 60 years of Air Force history, is free and open to the public. Those with base access may take advantage of free transportation from the Deel Community Center. The bus is scheduled to leave the Deel at 5:45 p.m. and those riding the bus will be seated before the general admission has a chance to crowd the aisles.
