The 92nd Services Squadron compiled information for the upcoming Lilac Bloomsday Run this spring. Take the Bloomsday Challenge to become even more fit to fight.

The Lilac Bloomsday Run is scheduled for May 4 beginning at 9 a.m. The registration deadline is April 20 for the 12 km, or 7.46 mile, course.

The objective of the Bloomsday Challenge is to get Fairchild personnel ready to participate in the grueling race. The fitness center here provides a progressive training program. The goal is to achieve as many miles as possible. This is a squadron competition, so the unit with the most miles will win a trophy.

Challenge guidelines are as follows:

Participants will meet Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. at the fitness center. Once there, the team leaders and categories will be identified. Members who participate in the base program and register for the Lilac Bloomsday Run will receive a Team Fairchild T-shirt.

Register for the race online at http://www.bloomsdayrun.org/.
