FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- A panel of civilian journalists, photographers, broadcasters, teachers and public relations professionals selected the best individuals and units in Air Force print, photo and broadcast journalism for the 52nd annual Air Force Media Contest. Two Airmen from the 92nd Air Refueling Wing public affairs office took home Air Force-level awards. The Fairchild winners are:
Outstanding New Journalist: Airman 1st Class Kali Gradishar
Pictorial Photograph (3rd place): Senior Airman Chad Watkins

The media contest is sponsored annually by the Secretary of the Air Force Public Affairs Office and is conducted by Headquarters Air Force News Agency in San Antonio, Texas.

Awards are presented to individuals for outstanding achievements in furthering the Air Force strategic communication objectives.
