Military, travel pay going to Air Force level Published March 13, 2008 92nd Comptroller Squadron FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Air Force financial management and wing Comptroller Squadrons are continuing to transform. One change on the horizon is the consolidation of military and travel pay back-shop work from base level to the new Air Force Financial Services Center at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. The AFFSC will utilize the latest technologies and training to deliver pay and travel services, freeing up an estimated $210 million in support of other critical Air Force missions. Beginning March 14, the AFFSC will compute and authorize all non-Defense Travel System travel voucher payments as well as military pay entitlements resulting from non-DTS travel. Estimated payment turn around times are five to seven days for deployment (accrual) vouchers through vMPF, or 10-12 days for permanent-change-of-station, separation, Do-It-Yourself moves, deployment final settlements and formal training travel vouchers. The 92nd Air Refueling Wing finance iffice will continue outstanding customer service and serve as your one-stop pay shop. Please contact Tech. Sgt. Michelle Verica at 247-4959 for information.
