Finance captain wins Air Force award

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  Congratulations to Capt. Christopher Underwood, 92nd Air Refueling Wing Comptroller Squadron budget officer, who received the Financial Analysis Officer of the Year award in the 2007 Air Force Financial Management and Comptroller Annual Award competition. The captain will be recognized at the American Society of Military Comptroller (ASMC) National Professional Development Institute May 28 in Orlando, Fla., and receive a SAF/FM coin, a commemorative plaque and a letter of recognition.

The Comptroller Squadron also took two unit awards at the Air Force level. Fairchild's Financial Analysis Office was named Financial Analysis Office of the Year, and the 92nd Mission and Financial Analysis Team received the Special Acts and Services Award. Of the five awards Air Mobility Command took at the Air Force level, the 92nd CPTS took three.
