What makes him a Warrior:
"Sergeant Van Sickle always has a positive 'can do' attitude and is willing to go the extra distance to make sure the mission succeeds. He's an outstanding non-commissioned officer, and examples what an NCO should be like in support of the Air Force and our combatant commanders. His leadership as the Top 3 president provides all of our Airmen the opportunity to look beyond the Air Force as a just a job, and instills a sense of family that has become vital to the information manager team. In spite of his poor sports skills, Sergeant Van Sickle's commitment to the Air Force and SERE mission has been awesome!" said Lt. Col. Michael Poole.
