Keeping a winning attitude Published April 29, 2008 By Senior Airman Jocelyn Ford 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Though it is only her first year as head coach for the 92nd Mission Support Squadron volleyball team, Airman 1st Class Melissa Rush feels completely motivated in her choice to lead the team. Airman Rush played volleyball in high school for four years and loves to play. "Volleyball is a team-building sport," Airman Rush said, and the 92nd MSS plays for fun. There are approximately 12 players on the roster and even when their luck is down and they lose a game they go with the motto, "Better luck next time," according to Airman Rush. Airman Rush wants to send out a warning to all the other teams in the league, saying, "We are the come back kids." And a special note to the 92nd MSS volleyball team: "Keep playing with a winning attitude." Below are team standings as of April 28.
