Racquetball in full swing Published May 8, 2008 By Senior Airman Jocelyn A. Ford 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The racquetball league is in full swing. There are six squadrons participating in the league and the first game was April 22. According to bylaws, the United States Racquetball Association rules govern play with only a few exceptions. The bylaws state that matches will consist of two singles and a doubles. Singles will be played on courts one and two, and doubles on court three. A match consists of the best two out of three games. Each game is played to 15 points. Teams consist of a minimum of two players; however, if only two players are available, the team captain will elect which match (singles or doubles) the team will forfeit. Each team will receive one point per singles and doubles match won to determine the team standings.
