What makes him a Warrior: "Sergeant Martinez proudly wears a blue rope, but he should be wearing a diamond because of his core leadership abilities. He volunteered for and graduated from the very physically and mentally demanding 17-day survival school. Certainly he could have avoided attending this school, but he demanded that he attend the school so that he could better understand what the students he is responsible for endure. Sergeant Martinez also sets a good example for the younger Airmen by actively pursuing his Masters Degree in Management and Leadership. He's very involved with the community through his volunteering in events such as the Lilac Parade, Habitat for Humanity and the 336th Training Group Top Four Association. Sergeant Martinez is a warrior that can be counted on to accomplish the mission while taking care of the troops!" --Master Sgt. Darin Evans, 66th TRS first sergeant.
