FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --
After many comments and requests for a safe and entertaining indoor play area, the 92nd Services Squadron has stepped up to meet your needs. On Sept. 26 the FunSpot had a grand opening ceremony for Fairchild's newest children's play area, the Funhouse. This new feature came just in time to provide parents a place to get away with their children and not have to worry about the weather outside.
The Funhouse is located in the old skate park area of the FunSpot (between the skating rink and the batting cages), and provides a wide array of recreational opportunities for children.
The Funhouse includes two separate play areas. The first, for infants to children three years of age, is an open and soft area for small ones to crawl, walk and climb. The second, for ages 4 to 12 years old, has a thematic boys' and girls' clubhouse. It has an artificial tree, cartoon insects and animals, tunnels, and two slides.
This new addition makes the FunSpot the place to be on Fairchild for kids and adults of all ages. Stop by and check it out today. Don't forget about the great food and programs the FunSpot has to offer. For more details call 247-2422.
