Airman-to-be brings bag of cookies for dorm Airmen
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – First sergeants Master Sgt. Robert Swanson, 92nd Communications Squadron, and Master Sgt. Todd Berliner, 92nd Maintenance Squadron, pose with Isabel Brick Sept. 29. Miss Brick is a local military supporter and Delayed Entry Program member awaiting orders for the Air Force’s Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Miss Brick baked 1,000 cookies for Fairchild Airmen living in the dormitories. Her reason, she explained, was a natural extension of a random act of kindness, a concept that Miss Brick had recently researched online. “I've been getting donations from people around my neighborhood. Safeway has graciously donated supplies toward the cause, and [I’ve been] asking people at work to donate change at the end of the day,” she said. (U.S. Air Force photo / Airman 1st Class Joshua K.
